Sensei Michael Nahan

Chief Instructor - 4th Degree Black Belt

Holding over 25 years experience in the martial arts, Sensei Michael Nahan is the owner and head instructor of Kempo Karate of Darien. He is the creator of the Leadership Program - sharing ideas and concepts of self improvement, the administrator of belt test ceremonies for our other karate dojos, and teaches martial arts to the karate instructors across the other Kempo Karate locations. Sensei Nahan also teaches the after school enrichment programs for both the Preschools and Elementary Schools in Darien. Recently, Sensei Nahan started FightGains, a martial arts youtube channel.

Sensei Trish Jackson

Instructor - 2nd Degree Black Belt

Teaching in Darien for the past six years, Sensei Trish Jackson holds 14 years experience in the martial arts. Currently, she is a certified Kickboxing Instructor and the graduate of a two-year training course in the teaching of martial arts. Recently, Sensei Jackson earned her place as a core member of our Off-Site Events Team, developing our presence in the community. She teaches many of our after school enrichment programs, through yourafterschool.com introducing karate to new students throughout Darien and the surrounding towns.
